Cubic Secures Contract to Enhance F-35 Combat Training Capabilities
Groundbreaking technology to revolutionize F-35 training
SAN DIEGO (FreePR.org) -- Cubic has been selected by Lockheed Martin to provide cutting-edge P5 Internal Subsystems (IS) for the F-35 program. Known for their expertise in Air Combat Training, Cubic will be supplying 100 P5 subsystems to enhance the capabilities of F-35 production aircraft.
The F-35 P5 will offer encrypted, real-time data to elevate training scenarios and replicate realistic adversary threats.
"With Cubic's P5 IS, we can achieve unparalleled Level II integration, facilitating immediate data sharing and precise scenario evaluations," stated Paul Averna, VP and GM of Advanced Training Solutions at Cubic Defense. "This system will elevate training standards, ensuring the protection of Tactics, Techniques and Procedures, and boosting the operational readiness and efficiency of F-35 pilots worldwide."
The accuracy of post-mission reconstruction and debriefing will be enhanced by the use of truth data, aiding in the development of strategies for improved combat effectiveness. The P5 system will seamlessly integrate into Cubic's extensive training network across multiple test and training ranges globally, promoting efficient multi-domain combat asset coordination.
By incorporating P5 source data into Cubic's SPEAR (Simplified Planning Execution Analysis Reconstruction) common data model, the speed of analysis and visualization of data will be significantly improved, ultimately enhancing combat effectiveness.
