A family-led Christian animation collaboration bringing biblical stories to life for children
Orange Va (FreePR.org) -- Children’s author, creative producer, and nonprofit leader Gail Morin is bringing together faith, storytelling, and community service through her latest animated project, Detective Sam and the Bible Time Travelers, while continuing her work as founder of the Christmas Angels Foundation, a Virginia-based nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors and families in need.
Morin is collaborating with the Dehnart Family, a Christian creative team known for their family-centered approach to animation, illustration, and voice performance, to bring the Detective Sam characters to life. The project unites professional animation with heartfelt storytelling rooted in biblical values.

Detective Sam and the Bible Time Travelers is an animated children’s series that follows Detective Sam and his friends as they travel through time to uncover biblical lessons, solve mysteries, and help children apply Scripture to everyday life. Each episode blends adventure, music, and interactive moments designed to encourage curiosity, kindness, and moral courage.
In addition to her creative work, Morin leads the Christmas Angels Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting seniors, individuals facing housing insecurity, and community members in crisis. The foundation’s mission reflects Morin’s broader commitment to faith-based service, compassion, and tangible help for those in need.
The animated series is currently in development as Morin prepares a Torch submission to Angel Studios, with future plans that include companion books, activity materials, music, and educational resources.
