Nokado School of Self Defense to Host Seminar with Renowned Martial Artist Hanshi Gregory Duncan
Kings Park, NY (FreePR.org) -- Nokado School of Self Defense, a traditional Jiu-Jitsu martial arts studio serving the Kings Park community for more than 45 years, will host an exclusive training seminar with internationally acclaimed martial artist Hanshi Gregory Duncan on Saturday, September 20. The youth seminar will run from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by the adult seminar from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Led by Head Instructor Michael Saltzman alongside Hanshi Duncan, the seminar will give participants the opportunity to learn advanced techniques and training strategies from one of the most respected figures in the martial arts world.
Hanshi Duncan, son of the legendary Professor Ronald Duncan, has dedicated over five decades to the martial arts. As co-inheritor of the Way of the Winds® Martial Arts System, he has mastered disciplines including Jujutsu/Taijutsu, Karate-Do, Ninjutsu, and Kobujutsu. Known for his tactical self-defense concepts and exceptional weapons expertise, he has earned national acclaim and multiple Hall of Fame honors.
A former champion competitor, Duncan now leads the flagship school in Union, New Jersey, offering programs for adults, children, and special needs groups, while continuing to preserve and expand his father’s legacy. His seminars—conducted across the United States and internationally—are known for combining practical, real-world applications with the artistry and discipline of traditional martial arts.
"We’ve worked hard to create a place where people of all ages can push themselves, support each other, and grow in skill and confidence,” said Michael Saltzman, Head Instructor at Nokado School of Self Defense. “This seminar is a chance for participants to learn from one of the world’s top martial artists while being part of that same spirit of connection and excellence.”
