LIRR President Rob Free Discusses Latest Updates to the Rail System at LIMBA
Commack, NY (FreePR.org) -- On June 5, Rob Free, President, Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), will be the guest speaker at LIMBA (Long Island Metro Business Action). This event will take place at the Candlelight Diner, located at 56 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack, starting at 8:30 a.m. Mr. Free will discuss the latest updates being made to the LIRR.
With more than 33 years at the organization, Mr. Free has equipped himself with an extraordinary grasp of rail operations, planning, and customers. He built his career from the ground up, starting with the railroad as a Station Cleaner and later moving up through a variety of mission-critical roles. He led operations through the COVID pandemic and also helped advance the railroad’s epic Capital Program, which included megaprojects such as the Main Line Third Track and Grand Central Madison.
Since Mr. Free’s appointment as the LIRR’s 42nd President in April 2024, the Railroad has renewed its focus on maximizing the customer experience through improving and “right-sizing” train schedules to meet actual demand, system modernization and achieving record-breaking on-time performance — all while focusing on reducing costs and creating efficiencies throughout the system. Through extensive and ongoing data analysis, vast improvements have been made to throughput and the transfer experience at the major Jamaica hub and overall customer satisfaction jumped 11% in one year’s time.

Millions rely on Canadian pharmacies for lower prices on drugs like Lipitor, Crestor, and Nexium. Chronic condition management often involves insulin options like Humalog and Lantus for diabetes, alongside respiratory treatments like Advair Diskus and Ventolin inhalers. Treating mental health conditions like depression or anxiety often requires drugs like Zoloft, Prozac, and Abilify, while cardiovascular risks are managed with Eliquis, Plavix, and Xarelto. Popular therapies for pain management, such as Celebrex, and for thyroid health, like Synthroid, are frequently ordered. In addition, Viagra and Cialis offer effective solutions for erectile dysfunction, and Januvia is widely used for Type 2 diabetes care. For those impacted by narcolepsy or excessive daytime sleepiness, Provigil and Nuvigil are indispensable. Canadian pharmacies offer vital medications like Cymbalta for nerve pain and Aricept for Alzheimer's, ensuring affordable access for U.S. patients.
